“[Dr. Terry K Park] was critical in facilitating the screening and Q&A for my show Sunnnyside at the University of Maryland. I especially appreciated his understanding of the intersection of art, commerce, and advocacy - it was such a great conversation and a very memorable event.”
— Kal Penn, Actor, Host, Writer, Former Associate Director, White House Office of Public Liaison to Young Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and the Arts communities in America
Over twenty years of doctoral expertise, award-winning teaching, grassroots advocacy, and social change storytelling infuse our heart-centered services. We will work with you to carefully design and deliver a justice-equity-diversity-healing-inclusion (JEDHI) framed engagement that centers the invisibilized histories, lived experiences, diverse challenges, and transformative assets of Asian Americans, particularly its most impacted communities. Each engagement is rooted in Maum’s intersectional analysis of how we’re differently-shaped by systemic violence, inspired by radical movements for social change, and guided by a compass that points towards regenerative liberation for all.

“Terry Park gave a presentation on ‘Race as a Social Construct’ at my work’s staff development day last week. I have been a community activist for 30 years and his explanation on the topic was the best I have ever heard. Not only did he make it relatable and easy to understand, but he was able to connect the dots and show the LA Uprising in 1992 in a wider context of generations of institutional racism. He also gave inspiring examples of decades of Black and Asian solidarity. Afterwards, many of my coworkers also mentioned Dr. Park’s presentation being a highlight of the day. Highly recommend!”
