Workshop on anti-Asian Hate for the Fulbright

Maum’s Founding Director Dr. Park to deliver a workshop for the Fulbright's East Asia and the Pacific programs to assist its staff to better support its Asian American fellows.

After the successful event concluded, Kelli Swazey, Fulbright Diversity and Inclusion Liaison, East Asia and the Pacific, offered this testimony:

“Terry brings incredible energy to his consultancy services in translating his extensive knowledge of Asian American history and experiences into his work with people and organizations who are looking better understand and expand their support of and engagement with AAPI communities. His humor, empathy, and deep personal commitment to this work helped to facilitate a better understanding of the experiences of AAPI participants in Fulbright programs for our partners in East Asia and the Pacific. He was able to develop a session that responded to the interests of regional partner organizations while providing them with important context on the historical and contemporary issues facing Asian American communities that felt personal and engaging through the lens of his own story.”
